The Heart of Texas Nurse Honor Guard honors nurses at the end of life through tribute ceremonies that include a nurse's biography, the Nightingale Pledge, a nurse's prayer, final call to duty, presentation of the Nightingale Lamp and White Rose, and casket honor guard. They provide these services to nursing students, active or retired Licensed Vocational Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses whose funerals or memorials occur within McLennan, Falls, Hill, Coryell, Bosque, Freestone, Milam, Limestone, and Navarro counties. Services: funeral services; graside; cemetery options; tribute ceremonies; Nurse’s Biography; The Nightingale Pledge; A Nurse’s Prayer; Final Call to Duty; Presentation of the Nightingale Lamp; Presentation of the White Rose; Casket Honor Guard.
