Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) is a Type A, 4A non-profit corporation founded by Taylor voters in 1994. It provides economic development services including site coordination, incentives facilitation, and workforce improvement to help businesses grow in Taylor, Texas. Services: ADVOCATE to create a positive business climate; MENTOR AND COUNSEL small businesses and entrepreneurs; COORDINATE LOCAL REAL ESTATE SITE LOCATIONS; FACILITATE INCENTIVES for retention of existing jobs and creation of new jobs; DEVELOP INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY through two business parks; PROMOTE & MARKET the community; PROVIDE LAND-GRANTS to qualified employers or projects; PROVIDE INFRASTRUCTURE-GRANTS for existing & new properties; PROVIDE FACADE-GRANTS for historic properties; PROVIDE FORGIVABLE LOANS for equipment and relocation assistance; ASSIST companies to secure incentives from other local and state agencies; IMPROVE YOUR WORKFORCE by working with education partners; EDUCATE LEADERS on policies, procedures or outcomes.
