The Travis County Women Lawyers Association is a nonprofit organization that fosters communication among women lawyers and strengthens their image in the community. It works to eliminate gender bias, inform the public about legal issues affecting women, and enhance the legal profession's public perception. Services: Fostering communication among women lawyers; Strengthening the image and position of women lawyers in the community; Working toward the elimination of gender bias; Informing the public about legal issues affecting women; Enhancing the public perception of the legal profession; Providing scholarships for women law students; Offering CLE seminars; Hosting community service events; Awarding scholarships for minority women; Creating scholarship funds for women students; Organizing annual awards luncheon; Hosting judicial receptions; Running a foundation for grants to nonprofits.
