About this service
The Save Our Springs Alliance works to protect the Edwards Aquifer, its springs and contributing streams, and the natural and cultural heritage of the Hill Country region and its watersheds, with special emphasis on Barton Springs. Since 1992, SOS has been Austin's water watchdog dedicated to preserving Barton Springs and the Edwards Aquifer through legal action, education, and advocacy. Services: Legal Advocacy; Education & Outreach; Conservation; Data Center Action; No Dog's Head Development Giveaways; Stop Hays Commons.
