The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center provides services for deaf and hard of hearing individuals including information referrals, adult literacy classes, job training, family support, client assistance, recreation programs, communication services, and resource specialists. The organization serves 23 counties of the Coastal Bend region and has been operating since 1978. Services: Information and Referrals; Adult Literacy; Job Training and Placement; Family Support; Client Assistance Services; Recreation Program; Communication Services; Deafness Resource Specialist; Hearing Loss Resource Specialist; Assistive Listening Equipment.
