About this service
The Community Foundation of West Texas improves quality of life for all people in the South Plains by connecting generosity with community needs. Established in 1981, the Lubbock Area Foundation changed its name to the Community Foundation of West Texas in September 2015 and serves the South Plains area including Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Terry, and Yoakum counties. Services: Scholarships; Grants; Mini-Grants for Teachers; Civic, Social and Economic Development; Education and Youth; Basic Needs; Self Sufficiency; Arts and Culture.
