About this service
Hope Village provides residential and day programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Houston area since 1970. The organization operates five forever-homes and a day program that includes work training, life skills, and recreational activities to support villagers' self-fulfillment and community integration. Services: full-time residential services; day programs; respite care; day care; work program; life skills training; computer training; Recreation and Fitness Program; arts and crafts projects; Bingo; sing-a-longs with live piano music; individualized Recreation and Fitness program; dances and parties; outdoor pool; paved walking track; garden; commercial basketball hoop; recreation center; Villager Easter Egg Hunt; trick-or-treating; monthly birthday parties; cookie decorating; Villager Christmas Concert; field trips (Astros baseball games, beachfront barbecues, fishing, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, local movie theater).
