About this service
HERO provides financial and emotional support for survivors of City of Houston employees killed while serving the Houston community. Since 2007, HERO has provided immediate financial assistance to families of municipal employees killed in the line of duty. Services: financial assistance; emotional support; concierge service for insurance and benefits; funds for continuing education of dependent children; review and approval of financial needs.
