Texas Biomedical Research Institute is the only independent nonprofit infectious disease research institute in the U.S. with 80+ years of history, combining high-level biocontainment labs, a National Primate Research Center, and expertise in regulated science for vaccine and therapy development. The institute focuses on research for infectious diseases including HIV, TB, hepatitis, malaria, and hemorrhagic fevers while addressing co-morbidities in vulnerable populations.
