Operation Stand Down Central Texas assists homeless veterans and their families in the surrounding Central Texas community. The organization provides immediate relief from homelessness trauma and isolation while raising community awareness about homeless veterans. Services: provide immediate relief from trauma and isolation of homelessness; provide short-term resources including shelter, beds, food, showers, clothing, haircuts; raise community awareness about homelessness (particularly homeless veterans); encourage elected officials participation in Stand Down; increase media coverage on homeless veteran issues.
