About this service
The Chauncy Glover Project is an extensive, hands-on mentoring program created to groom inner-city teenage boys into upstanding and accomplished gentlemen. This culturally specific intervention for Black and Latino male youth focuses on Education, Manhood, and Self-Empowerment. Services: Group mentoring for CGP Gents (11th & 12th grade); One-on-one mentoring; Academic tutoring for STAAR/EOC, college entrance exams, academic subjects; Civic engagement opportunities; Police interaction training; Life-skills training workshops; Resume writing; Interview skills; Leadership training; Goal setting; Financial responsibility; S.W.A.G. (She Wants a Gentleman); Etiquette training; Public speaking; Dressing for success; Spiritual development; Health and fitness; Mental health awareness.
