The Dyess We Care Team is a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization made up of active duty Air Force, civilians, and military retirees who provide free home repair services to the disabled, elderly, and others in need. They have been serving Abilene, Texas for 26 years, completing over 45 projects annually with volunteers contributing thousands of hours of labor. Services: painting homes; minor home repairs; wheelchair ramp installations; tree cutting; cabinetry and plumbing fixtures installation; spaghetti and baked beans service for handicapped children.
